Planning a holiday in the Giant Mountains and looking for mountain accommodation where everything is comfortably prepared for you? We’ve put together answers to our guests’ most frequently asked questions. Whether you come in winter for the snow or in summer for the mountain nature, at Chalupy Roubal you’ll find comfortable facilities for the whole family and friends.
What about parking at the cottages in winter?
Each cottage has reserved parking spaces right by the property. During the winter months we take care to ensure a comfortable arrival for our guests; access roads and parking areas are regularly maintained and snow is cleared with a snow blower.
Are the cottages suitable for families with young children?
Yes, our cottages are the ideal place for a family holiday in the Giant Mountains. Spacious interiors, a peaceful setting and safe facilities offer plenty of comfort for both small and older children. On request we’re happy to provide a cot too, so the stay is comfortable for even the youngest family members.
Is a stay with a dog or pet possible?
A stay with a pet is only possible at selected cottages. A small dog can be accommodated at the Ledárna, Roubalka and Šípková cottages for a fee of 250 CZK per night. We ask you to respect the house rules so that all our guests can enjoy a pleasant stay.
What is included in the rental price?
The price of your stay includes everything you need for a comfortable stay: bed linen, towels and bath towels, and firewood for the fireplace or stove.
Electricity consumption is not included in the base rental price and is charged according to actual usage. The price of electricity is 6 CZK/kWh, billed within 14 days after the end of the stay.
How does arrival and cottage handover work?
Arrival at the cottage is possible from 3:00 PM on the day your stay begins.
Before your arrival you’ll receive all the necessary information, including the code for the security lock in which the cottage keys are prepared. Thanks to this system, your arrival is comfortable and flexible without having to wait for a handover. Upon arrival, the prepared cottage awaits you, where you can immediately start enjoying your stay in the heart of the Giant Mountains.
